From an overwhelming number of submissions, Neilly Davies Consulting Engineers have been selected as a member of Coffs Harbour City Council's Preferred Supplier Register for Professional Engineering Services.
The contract is for a two year period commencing 1 January 2015 with an option of a one year extension.
Neilly Davies has been taking Engineering Interns since 2010 from several universities, the interviews are conducted twice a year having six month terms per student in mind. The students who have been through this internship program achieve a well-rounded experience at the end of their six month internship. Neilly Davies has had good relationship with University of Technology Sydney (UTS) due to the requirement in their engineering degree program for two compulsory six months internship sessions in the overall course.

As an engineering intern your role will be quite varied with a focus across civil, structural and hydraulic disciplines. In terms of the sectors you will work across, these will include residential (low, medium and high density) as well as aged care, education and industrial primarily. These projects will involve new builds, alterations and additions to existing structures as well as inspection, assessment, rectification and reporting.
A successful candidate must have:
- A strong academic record
- Completed at least 1 year of study
- Strong communication skills
- A 'can do' attitude
